We are practitioners with unparalleled experience in mine closure and rehabilitation. Mine Earth has offices in Brisbane and Perth. The Role Mine Earth is seeking a highly motivated Senior Environmental / Civil / Mining Engineer to complement our existing team of specialists. This role involves managing projects related to the development of three-dimensional mining landform closure designs, preparing design and construction documentation, developing detailed cost estimates, and supporting the execution of closure earthworks. The position could be based in Perth or Brisbane , depending on your location, and will involve occasional short-term site visits . About You The successful applicant will have: Relevant professional engineering qualifications. 10+ years of industry experience in mining, environmental, and/or civil engineering. Experience working in a team environment and managing schedules and projects. Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey designs and technical information to a range of stakeholders. Experience using CAD earthwork design tools such as 12d, Civil 3D, or AutoCAD 3D . Key Skills & Experience Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas: Management of earthworks. Surface water modelling. Landform cover design modelling. The position will be based in Perth with occasional short-term site visits. About You The successful applicant will have: Relevant professional engineering qualifications. 0–5 years of industry experience in mining, environmental, and/or civil engineering. Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information to a range of stakeholders. Basic GIS skills (ArcPro/qGIS). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Key Skills & Experience Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas: Working in a team environment and managing schedules and projects. Numerical modelling (e.g., surface water modelling). Cost estimation. Exposure to mine sites. Using CAD earthwork design tools such as 12d, Civil 3D, Surpac, or AutoCAD 3D. Why Join Us?
